What can I make?

Create an accessory for your apartment/dorm, like a modern weaving, garland or paper flowers, sorority themed craft, big/little gifts, banners for service events, etc. Give us a call if there’s a specific product you need to complete your craft – we’ll let you know if we have it.

How much space is available?

There are 4 tables available for Open Studio with a total of 16 seats.

P.S. We have sewing machines available for Penn Staters who know how to use them! Bring a PSU shirt and make a DIY game day shirt with our fun ribbons and zigzag scissors.

Have a big group? Host a private open studio event!

Your group can create a community project such as Bid Day letters, event banners or apartment/suite decor OR each guest can make an individual item.

The Makery provides all supplies and self-guided instruction for this 2-hour event. Your group is also welcome to bring catered food/beverage for an extra-special time. Costs vary depending on project.
