Join us on Friday, May 5th from 6-8 pm for a very special TRUNK Show for all ages supporting the Jana Marie Foundation!

As part of Downtown State College’s May First Friday, our favorite Market artists including Michele Randall, IF Studios, Lola Joyously Handmade, Lisa Cousins and Mindfully Made Studios will feature their new spring work as a sneak preview to the Art Alliance Spring Studio Tour

Enjoy sweet spring refreshments while you browse the beautiful, locally-made gifts for Mother’s Day, graduations and teacher appreciation!

The Jana Marie Foundation promotes awareness of mental illness throughout Central PA.  A Mokita is a word in the Kilivila language that means “truth we all know but agree not to talk about” – otherwise known as the Elephant in The Room. Dozens of State College artists created Mokitas as an effort to bring mental health awareness to our community.  Several of these Mokitas will also be on display at The Makery during our TRUNK Show.  Ten percent of all Market proceeds from this event will go to the Jana Marie Foundation.

We’ll also have a free, fun mixed media activity for children – Mini-Mokitas!  We’ll have mixed media materials galore – papers, fabrics, paints, glitter – for kids to decorate their own paperboard elephants to take home!

Don’t miss this delightful night in our fantastic downtown!
